The Hawaii Mountain Bike Association isn’t about a specific person, or board of directors. It’s so much more. It’s what happens when a community comes together to help lift each other up. A community that embraces the spirit found in our beautiful islands of Hawaii. That spirit, is the Spirit of Aloha.
The mission of HMBA is twofold. To uplift the lives of its members by providing a fun, friendly set of mountain bike related activities that encourage positive mental, physical and social health. Then, those very members in turn, participate in HMBA led programs that help assist others who are struggling and in need.
The Hawaii Mountain Bike Association is registered and recognized as a charitable nonprofit organization in the State of Hawaii. HMBA is also recognized by the IRS as an official 501c3 and donations to the organization may be tax deductable. None of our board members, ride leaders or volunteers are paid. All work is done on a volunteer basis. The board of directors and rider leaders are listed below. All nonprofit information is located on this website and made available for public viewing (links to documentation in footer).
